Hello to UNH TV and Carousel digital sign users-
In August, Enterprise Technology & Services (ET&S) will upgrade the current Carousel digital sign content server, as the current system will be unsupported by our vendor in January 2023. ET&S will email you shortly with the exact dates so you can plan accordingly.
You will also receive an invitation from Carousel to set up your account. Please accept this invitation, but for the time being, you will not be able to see your content until we complete this upgrade.
To Know
While user impact will be minimal, the following changes will occur:
1. The URL will change from william6.unh.edu to https://usnh.carouselsignage.net. Please bookmark this new URL for future reference; both will work for the transition period.
2. You will need to add “@usnh.edu” to the end of your current username when you sign in. Your password will remain the same.
To Do
1. The week before this change, please refrain from adding new content to your digital sign.
2. Please sign into the william6.unh.edu server and delete all Expired Bulletins.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What happens if I forget and upload new content during the moratorium week?
a. Your content will not appear on your digital signs. You will need to upload it to the new server. We will redirect william6.unh.edu to the new server. This redirect will be in place for three months.
2. Will the people authorized to upload content to the Zones on my screen still have authorization?
a. Yes, all permissions will be recreated.
3. Will all my content be migrated to the new server?
a. Yes. You should see the layout zones and content.
