The Safe Electronic Equipment Disposal (SEED) program provides for the disposal of University equipment containing data storage including computers, mobile devices, portable drives, and hard drives. The UNH recycling vendor is certified in data protection and wiping to meet the requirements of USNH policy so that the device owner need not wipe prior to equipment disposal.
SEED may also be used to dispose of any equipment containing circuit boards such as monitors, printers, peripherals, scientific equipment, and audio-visual equipment. Please check the Accepted Equipment List for types of equipment that cannot be disposed of via SEED.

Equipment Collections
Requests to add your equipment to a SEED collection must be submitted the previous Friday before the planned collection date. Requests made after that time will be assigned to the next available collection date.
Collection Dates:

Dates may change due to adverse weather conditions or other factors. Requesters will be notified by email as soon as possible regarding the rescheduling of a collection.
Collection Location
Electronic equipment collections are conducted at the truck dock at 6 Leavitt Lane, Durham, shown on the map. Please bring only your approved equipment requests to a collection. Requesters are notified on approved equipment via email.
