As previously communicated, Enterprise Technology & Services are migrating UNH departments and their individual Box users over to Microsoft 365 OneDrive and SharePoint over the next six months.

  • Your department is in the second wave and your data will be copied from Box to OneDrive and SharePoint in June. 
  • You were listed as the primary contact for one or more departments; please forward this information to others in your department.

How It Works
ET&S will copy department Box data to SharePoint, and individual user data to OneDrive. Your Box data will be accessible before, during, and after the migration, but once complete, you will not be able to add new files or edit existing files in your UNH Box account.

You will receive three notifications when it’s your turn to migrate:

  • A message in advance of your department’s migration (this message)
  • A message once your data is syncing to OneDrive
  • A message when the migration is complete

Startup Meeting
The next step is to attend a brief Startup meeting with the migration team to familiarize yourself with the process and what you need to do to make the transition as seamless as possible. You will receive information about your Startup Meeting options before your wave is scheduled to migrate.
 
This one-hour meeting will give you an opportunity to meet the team, collect the information you need to understand the migration process and what to expect, and have ET&S answer your initial questions.
