An effective performance assessment process is a defining attribute of a high-functioning governing board; it is a key part of the accrediting agencies’ evaluation of our institutions and academic programs; and it is essential to the Board’s continuous improvement. Your thoughtful participation is needed to ensure a successful process.
Below are links to the three online performance evaluation surveys. The first survey is about the work of the Board, the second survey is about each of the committees on which you serve or the meetings of which you regularly attend, and the third survey is about your own work as a trustee. A link to an exit survey will be sent separately to trustees who will be leaving the Board at the end of this governance year.

The Board Officers and Governance Committee encourages every member of the Board to complete all three surveys, and especially to include written comments.
The results of the surveys will be reviewed by the Governance Committee and reported to the Board at its Annual Meeting on June 26-27 (aggregate data only – no attribution). To that end it would be most helpful if you would complete the surveys by Monday, May 19, 2025.
