Associate Vice Chancellor of Partnerships and Shared Services Initiatives

Amy Schwartz, MPH, Ed.D., is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Partnerships and Shared Services Initiatives for the University System of New Hampshire, responsible for developing and maintaining collaborative, working relationships for innovative and strategic program development with all USNH campuses, the Community College System of New Hampshire, and area business and education constituencies. Dr. Schwartz oversees project planning and execution of new shared service initiatives, including the USNH Online Enrollment Center and Information Technology program management. 

Prior to serving as the Associate Vice Chancellor, Dr. Schwartz served as the Associate Director of the New Hampshire Institute for Health Policy and Practice at the University of New Hampshire, before becoming the Director of Health Care Cost Containment for USNH. She also held several positions in private sector health insurance companies before joining the University System.

Dr. Schwartz is active in her local community, serving as Commissioner and Vice Chair for the Portsmouth Housing Authority and as a Trustee for the Foundation for Seacoast Health and Chair of their Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Dr. Schwartz holds a doctorate in Education, Learning and Leadership from Plymouth State University, a Masters’ Degree in Public Health in Maternal and Child Health with a minor in Disability Studies, and a certificate in Advance Graduate Studies in Genetics, Genomics and Public Health from Sarah Lawrence University. Dr. Schwartz holds a clinical faculty appointment with the UNH College of Health and Human Services, Office of Health Management and Policy.
