G. Definitions
1. Campus Master Plan
1.1 A comprehensive long-range plan that will guide the physical development of an institution for 20 or more years. A Campus Master Plan addresses all aspects of the institution including physical plant, real estate, changes in academic programs, and administrative structure. Those plans are reviewed and approved on a five-year cycle by the USNH Board of Trustees in accordance with the policies set forth herein.
2. Campus Facilities Plan
2.1 A six year plan that will guide an institution in the orderly development and ongoing maintenance, repair, and renovation of campus facilities to meet the institution's academic, student service, research, public service and administrative support needs. The Campus Facilities Plan outlines specific projects and funding sources for the six-year period. Those plans are reviewed and approved every two years by the USNH Board of Trustees in accordance with the policies set forth herein.
3. Capital Projects Plan
3.1 A System-wide six year plan that incorporates projects on the Campus Facilities Plan for each University System institution. The USNH Capital Projects Plan, updated biennially, identifies projects, priorities, and financing requirements for the next six year period and is the basic document used in preparing and presenting prioritized requests to the state government for capital appropriations. This plan is reviewed and approved every two years by the USNH Board of Trustees in accordance with the policies set forth herein.
4. Capital Projects Schedule
4.1 A System-wide two-year plan detailing the construction and major repair and renovation projects which have an approved plan and source of funds. The schedule will include those projects which are set to begin within the next two-year period and will be reviewed and approved every year by the Board of Trustees in accordance with the policies set forth herein.
