Economic Impact Report

The four institutions of the University System of New Hampshire (University of New Hampshire,
Durham and Manchester; Plymouth State University; Keene State College; and Granite State College) also have a significant economic impact on our communities and our state. The dollars that are paid in
tuition and fees, funds from contracts and sponsored research, the State’s basic appropriation, monies
from auxiliary enterprises, and private and corporate philanthropy are largely spent here in New
Hampshire, resulting in jobs, economic growth, and overall improvement in the quality of life.
