1. Can I have more than one Banner session going on my computer?
Yes, you can open up more than one Banner session by opening up a new browser session using Internet Explorer or Netscape, just like you did for the first session. You will need to sign onto Banner each time you open a new session.
2. If I forget and do not follow the data standards, will anyone catch my mistake?
We have developed discrepancy results for some standards. In the future more will be done. However it is best to take care when entering records.
Within Banner, Superuser refers to an approval level. Superusers are able to intervene, make changes, apply approvals, and forward EPAFs. The Supruser privileges are not restricted by campus, org access, or EPAF type.
4. The dog ate my cheat sheets. Where can I get another set?
Cheat sheets are available online on the Banner HR Website here.
5. How do I change my password in Banner?
Changing your password in Banner is simple. Sign onto the instance, such as BPRD, for which you would like to change your password. Access form GUAPSWD. Follow the instructions on the screen, which involves entering your old password and the new one you desire. If you do not know your current password, contact the Help Desk & Dispatch Center at 862-4242.
